I have no idea where Moochie is because I can’t see a damn thing while shooting into the sun on my phone. I just love taking pictures of this ride. The graphics make me think of midways and carnies and the creepy/cool end of Hitchcock’s Shadow of a Doubt. (Because nothing makes for an easily relatable reference like a Joseph Cotton shout-out; am I right or am I right?)
I wish Mooch wasn’t over merry-go-rounds in pursuit of more of an adrenaline rush these days, because I also love taking pictures on them. Cool canted angle ones of gears and flaring horse nostrils. I took so many over the years. And sweet pictures of the kid of course, from the preschool epoch when her hair hadn’t grow past her chin and seemed it never would.
My third favorite ride to take pictures from is the ferris wheel, but I don’t see her stopping her pursuit of FASTER! HIGHER!! MORE G FORCES!!! mayhem to indulge her mom in a non upside down lazy lateral stutter step climb up around and down again. Unless I bribe her with a bucket of Ice Cream Dots the size of her head. But…
